Thanksgiving 2022: A Seasonal Tablescape

This thanksgiving we’re not just playing with seasonal colors and flowers. We’re also adding vegetables and fruit into our tablescape and floral designs. We wanted to keep the menu simple for this year’s photo shoot and focus on the flowers. We wanted to create a beautiful arrangement and a flower MOMENT to make the table POP.

We worked with Michelle Riverón to bring this vision to life. Contrasting the dark wood of the table with the pops of color of the flowers, vegetables, and fruit was well-balanced. We loved playing around with dinnerware like dark green plates, gold silverware, and vintage hand-blown Lenox crystal champagne glasses, which may or may not have been a pandemic purchase. Adding a high vintage vase and some silk cloth was a fun, delicate touch.

We played around with different textures and flowers, combining traditional and non-traditional colors for contrast and fun. We love seasonal colors but we don’t want to feel limited to a specific color palette. It also allows for some flexibility if products or colors sell out.

For the large floral arrangement, Michelle combined our Red, Lavender, and Peach Ah!Maze Roses with Lavender Alstroemeria, Bronze Mum Balls, Purple and Bronze Micro Pompons, and Novelrt Purple Carnations.

For the floral installation, the piece de resistance, she added Purple and White Kale, more Ah!Maze Roses, Dianthus Ball, Micro Pompon Daisies, and Red and Pink Alstroemeria. At the bottom of the installation, she placed vegetables and fruit that gave lush and hearty vibes.

The setup was beautiful and well-balanced. The addition of the fruit and vegetables gave it an earthy touch. Who said Thanksgiving had to be unhealthy?!

We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. We are grateful for our Grown to Last Partnerships with you. We hope this season brings many blessings your way!
