The Power of Self Love

Valentine’s Day is a special occasion that is all about love, and this year, we’re taking a closer look at the importance of self love. Whether you’re single or in a relationship, it’s crucial to show yourself the same care and affection that you extend to others. And what better way to do this than by surrounding yourself with flowers? Working in the flower industry during this time can be hectic and chaotic. We wanted to remind ourselves of the positivity our flowers bring to others and also take time to appreciate them for ourselves.

We partnered with Sukii of Say Sukii to create a zen and relaxing outdoor space full of our favorite things. We used Color Roses, Godetia, Lepidium, Spray Roses, and Delphinium Spray to create a peaceful outdoor oasis.

Flowers have long been a symbol of love, both for others and for ourselves. They bring beauty, joy, and comfort to our daily lives, and they can also help cultivate feelings of self love and appreciation. A bouquet of fresh flowers can brighten up any room and serve as a daily reminder of our own worth.

With circular mirrors and cement blocks we created a table and adorned it with flowers. It was a perfect day to drink some tea, do yoga, meditate, and eat delicious treats.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s make a commitment to ourselves to practice self love and self care. Here are some tips for doing just that:

  1. Take a relaxing bath: Light some candles, add some rose petals, and let yourself unwind in a warm bath.

  2. Write in a journal: Spend some time reflecting on your accomplishments, strengths, and what you love about yourself.

  3. Treat yourself to a bouquet of fresh flowers: Choose flowers that resonate with you and make you feel happy and loved.

  4. Do something you love: Whether it’s reading a book, watching a movie, or trying a new hobby, make time for activities that bring you joy.

  5. Surround yourself with positivity: Surround yourself with positive people, quotes, and images that make you feel good about yourself.

Self love is a journey, not a destination. It requires continuous effort, but the rewards are worth it. So, this Valentine’s Day, make yourself a priority, and let flowers be your daily reminder of your own worth. Happy Valentine’s Day!
