The time is near. It comes every year, yet somehow some of us are still late to the game. Don’t let yourself be unprepared, shocked, or scared this year. Luckily, there is still some time to redeem yourself and come out on top. We won’t give you a Valentine’s Day 101, but we will stick to what we know: florals. You can never go wrong with a bouquet of flowers on Valentine’s Day.
Now that we’ve done the hard part, it’s up to you to choose the bouquet that best encompasses the person you will be celebrating on February 14th. Here is a little guide to each design to make things even easier. As a disclaimer, if you don’t see many roses incorporated in these bouquets it is for a good reason. We want to showcase other beautiful flowers that we offer and how they can be used during a holiday like this. If you would like to keep things a little more classic and lean into the traditional aspect of Valentines Day, think about using a different color of roses. Be “daring” and play with your selection of florals and colors. After all, this is a perfect way to use free will here.
Blushing Dawn

This bouquet brings everything we envision when we think of sweet love—bright and youthful colors to celebrate tender, new romance. Our selection of florals was based on what we felt this bouquet represented. A combination of purple hues serves as a symbol of the intense feelings one might experience, while the yellow micro pompons balance things out and keep the arrangement playful, flirty, and light. The pink carnations and alstroemeria work together to create a full, lush look. This is a good look for that young love. With so many emotions at play, why not showcase them through fun colors and florals?
Love Story
This trendy combination of hues offers a classic take on a Valentine’s Day bouquet, featuring large and full florals in rich, dark red tones. Roses—who could forget the rose? We never said roses were completely exiled from the holiday we instead would like to see them used intentionally and with some thought. Considered the pillar of the holiday, roses are a must-have to achieve that sultry look. For this reason, we have included them in our Love Story bouquet. A combination of dark greens with deep reds creates a captivating arrangement. To add dimension, we’ve included a few light-colored florals within the same palette, such as peach carnations, orange roses, and white daisies, to tie everything together. Love Story is that elevated twist we have given your every day and retired bouquet of red roses.
Galantines

Every year, Valentine’s Day comes around—it’s a given. What is not given is if you will have a romantic partner to celebrate said holiday. While a romantic partner may be the inspiration behind the holiday, it’s certainly not the only focus. Over time, Valentine’s Day has evolved to include the people around us whom we love and cherish. In 2010, Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler in the TV show Parks and Recreation, introduced us to Galentine’s Day. This reimagined version of the holiday celebrates inclusivity and empowerment. With a balanced mix of bright, soft yellow and lavender tones, this arrangement is perfect for your annual Galentine’s reunion. Pair it with sweet and playful décor and an invite to all your girlfriends to complete the celebration. This bouquet is fun yet light, timeless rather than tacky, and appealing to all the gals.
Whether you are celebrating this year with a romantic partner or simply enjoying a gathering with friends, this holiday is the perfect excuse to show your love for those around you. Although we shouldn’t limit ourselves to just one day of the year to express our love and appreciation, it is nice to have a holiday that reminds us to cherish our partners, friends, and family. We are happy to be by your side and offer some choices and inspiration each year. Same time next year?
