While some would think it’s too hot in Miami for a Garden Party, if you have the right food, some fans, and cold Vinho Verde, you’ll be just fine! For anyone up north, we know you don’t need any excuse to be outside during the summer!
We decided to get an array of both our staples and some novelty product: alstroemeria, our July rose of the month, “Glacier”, kale, greens, stock, wax flowers- just to name a few. While creating these whimsical arrangements, we thought about how great it would be to create a station where guests could do their own bouquets and take them home! Of course, someone had already come up with this concept so for more information on that, click here!
We ordered some wood rounds to create that rustic look, they’re easy to find and very much in style. When it comes to food, make sure to ask your guests if they have any allergies or food restrictions! We opted for cold and fresh items: a Mediterranean orzo salad with olives, a watermelon and tomato salad with feta and a fresh tuna crudo with olive oil, salt and pepper. Not only are these recipes easy to recreate and delicious, but they also add a pop of color to your table.
All in all, we think this is a great party idea. Not only will your guests have a great time, but you’ll have plenty of beautiful flowers all around you!
Can anyone say #FlowerGoals?!
